On April 28, 2024, the turbo-generator's stator hoisting was successfully completed in the Jinta ZhongGuang Solar "CSP + PV" hybrid pilot project 100MW CSP project, marking the project achieved stage results and laying a solid foundation for the grid connection.

The turbo-generator's stator is one of the core components in the turbine generator set. In order to ensure the steady and accurate lifting of the stator, Cosin Solar team have organized the design institute and equipment manufacturers to discuss the optimization of hoisting plans according to the site conditions. By formulating special safety measures, in-depth technical communication,and implementation of all preparation measures, the generator stator was successfully hoisted into place one time.

The important engineering nodes of the project have been completed in succession, including 25,594 sets of heliostats installtion, the receiver body hoisting and the most of the civil works. Currently,, the installation works are in full swing, and the MS tank, SGS and other auxiliary system equipment and pipelines are also under construction as planned. Next, Cosin Solar will accelerate the progress of the project construction, and focus on engineering safety and quality, to make sure the project proceeds more smoothly.

Jinta ZhongGuang Solar "CSP + PV" hybrid pilot project, with a total installed capacity of 700MW, is developed and constructed by Jinta ZhongGuang Solar Power Generation Co., Ltd. It is comprised of a 100MW CT CSP and 600MW PV. The 100MW CT CSP project, with an 8-hour MSES, uses solar thermal tower technology fully developed by Cosin Solar. Its designed annual production is 1580GWh and will save 480,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 1,310,000 tons of CO₂ emission per year after operation.
